About this event

***PLEASE NOTE THAT THE REMAINING SPACES IN THIS GROUP ARE RESERVED FOR MALE AND NON-BINARY SURVIVORS ONLY***

Lambeth’s Violence Against Women and Girls* (VAWG) Strategy 2021-27 sets out our plans to make the borough safer for everyone. To support this, we are setting up a panel of ‘experts by experience’ - local people who have experienced violence and abuse.

We are holding focus groups for victims and survivors in Lambeth to help us to plan how the panel should look, feel, and operate.

This focus group session is open to people of any gender who:

• Have experienced violence and abuse

• Are aged 16 or over

• Live, work or study in Lambeth

• Are willing to share their views with the council about how our Expert by Experience Panel should look

N.B the remaining spaces in this focus group are reserved for male and non-binary survivors only. For women who are interested to take part we are holding a women-only focus group on 1st March at 11am - sign up here

Focus group participants will each receive a £25 Love2Shop voucher and their travel costs will be covered (receipts required). Soft drinks and light refreshments will be provided.

There are 13 spaces in this session.

If you have any questions please contact Amy Masson from the Lambeth VAWG Team on amasson@lambeth.gov.uk or 020 7926 7686

* Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) describes forms of violence and abuse that disproportionately affect women and girls, including domestic abuse and sexual violence. However, people of any gender can experience abuse of this nature and the consequences effect everyone.
